Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life Meets March 28

Adelphi, Md. (March 24, 2017) - The University System of Maryland (Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ) Board of Regents Committee on Education Policy and Student Life at its next meeting will vote on a new academic program and hear an overview of undergraduate success in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, on the seventh floor of the Albin O. Kuhn Library on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

The academic program is a master of science in nursing at Frostburg State University, with two areas of concentration: family nurse practitioner and psychiatric & mental health nurse practitioner.

The report on Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ undergraduate success will include information on retention and graduation rates of first-time, full-time degree-seeking undergraduates. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is producing nearly seven graduates for every 10 students who enter as freshmen. The committee also will receive an update on how students, faculty, and staff at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ institutions and the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Office are responding to recent immigration policies and regulations coming from the White House.
