New Â鶹ÊÓƵ Scorecard Offers Accountability on Â鶹ÊÓƵ Strategic Priorities

Md. (Jan. 3, 2017) -- The University System of Maryland
(Â鶹ÊÓƵ) has launched a brief Â鶹ÊÓƵ Scorecard to update the public in a quick, "at a
glance" fashion on how the Â鶹ÊÓƵ is making progress on its strategic priorities.
In this publication, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ communicates
progress made on the goals outlined in its strategic plan, Powering Maryland Forward. Approved by the Board of Regents in
December 2010, the plan focuses on five key priorities to strengthen Â鶹ÊÓƵ's
leadership in student success-including college completion rates-and in
academic, research, and economic innovation.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Scorecard updates the work toward
these goals with brief bullet points, statistics, and other data points. The
Â鶹ÊÓƵ Scorecard will be updated on a regular basis and is published in both print
and electronic form. It can be found electronically via the Â鶹ÊÓƵ web site at .
